the Context

Once again, Eric Marquis entrusted HYPNO.LUXO with developing the new version of the Comédie Centrale websites. The goal was to standardize the platforms of the three theaters (Comédie Centrale, Comédie en Île, and Comédie Montorgueil) to streamline team management and enhance the experience of visitors and customers. A tailored administration system and unified navigation needed to be designed to achieve this goal.

The HYPNO.LUXO web agency in Mauritius has imagined and developed a Centralized and Custom "Ticketing" System.

SHOWS MANAGEMENT: Publication of shows and plays (posters, videos, plays descriptions, different price categories, seasonal subscriptions,...) and enabling ticket purchases via an external platform.
EMAIL MARKETING: Integration of a robust WYSIWYG system for managing customer communications.
ACTOR PROFILES: Creation of countless biography pages for each actor participating in the plays/shows.
NEWS MODULE: A News module was developed (text, photos, videos, etc.) to enhance SEO.

Challenge

The project involved designing and developing a custom CMS - a shared administration system that enables theater teams to publish ongoing shows while allowing access to all the past performances through an archive menu.
Additionally, a robust email marketing service was to be integrated into the same CMS. For theaters offering dining services, a menu that could be updated at any time also needed to be provided.

Results

The Comedie Centrale attracts approximately 170,000 annual visitors, Comédie en Île 80,000, and Comédie Montorgueil 25,000. To handle this traffic, dedicated servers were implemented to ensure smooth website performance and reliable email dispatch.

These solutions successfully unified theater management while improving the services offered to customers.
